LUTHER
CAMPBELL
FLORIDA'S 20TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
Coach. Author. Businessman. Mentor. Community leader. Cultural pioneer. Four decades of fighting for South Florida — now he's taking that fight to Washington.

Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell is a coach, author, businessman, mentor, community leader, and cultural pioneer whose work has influenced music, sports, business, and public policy for more than four decades.
A proud son of Miami with Bahamian and Jamaican roots, Campbell rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most influential figures in Southern culture. His parents came to America carrying the values of the Caribbean — hard work, community, faith, and dignity — and those values have driven everything Luther has built.
As the creator and pioneer of Southern hip-hop and founder of Luke Records, he helped launch the careers of artists such as Pitbull, Trick Daddy, H-Town, and the groundbreaking group 2 Live Crew, helping build an industry that would eventually shape music around the world.
Campbell made history when his fight for artistic freedom reached the Supreme Court of the United States, helping protect the First Amendment rights of artists, comedians, and creators across America.
But beyond the music and the headlines, Campbell's life has always been rooted in service. For more than twenty years, he has dedicated himself to mentoring young people, coaching youth and high school football, and helping guide hundreds of student-athletes toward college scholarships and professional careers — including Devonta Freeman, Amari Cooper, and Carlton Davis III.
From humanitarian efforts helping Haitian refugees, to creating job programs for disadvantaged youth, to securing tens of millions of dollars in funding for parks and youth facilities in Miami neighborhoods — his life's work has always been about one thing: creating opportunities for people who are too often overlooked.

HIS FOUNDATION
Luther's parents — his Bahamian father and Jamaican mother — came to Miami carrying Caribbean values of hard work, community, and dignity. Everything Luther has built stands on their shoulders.

CARIBBEAN BLOOD.
MIAMI MADE.
Luther Campbell is the son of Caribbean immigrants who came to America with nothing but their values and their will. His Jamaican mother and Bahamian father settled in Miami and built a life from the ground up. Exactly the kind of story that defines Florida's 20th District.
South Florida's Caribbean community is one of the most powerful, most vibrant, and most overlooked voting blocs in the country. Jamaicans, Bahamians, Haitians, Trinidadians — communities that built this city with their hands and their culture. Luther is one of them. He isn't just asking for your vote. He's family.
When Luther talks about affordable housing, good-paying jobs, and protecting families — he's talking about the same struggles his parents faced when they arrived. This isn't politics for him. It's personal.
